(Translated from German) I bought four Venus 210W 36V panels from SolarV for a balcony solar system. Two panels are connected in parallel to each input of a 600W inverter. The panels are lightweight and well-made. The only issue is that the black anodized finish on the frames comes off easily. The panels' performance is excellent. Service is very good—email inquiries are answered quickly by SolarV, including technical support.

(Translated from German) Here is some quick feedback on the inverter: I ordered a 24V/3000W model, and it arrived right on time and very well packaged. I bought it because my old one (an Edecoa) was having trouble with my LiFePO4 batteries—two 12V 200Ah units in series with a 200A BMS, used in an off-grid setup at my garden plot—and kept triggering fault errors (I had previously used AGM batteries and initially thought the issue lay with them). Installation and connection were quick and trouble-free. Then came the test: I used a Senseo coffee machine (which was the whole reason for the upgrade), and I have to say, even after brewing hot water 12 times in a row, there were no failures or issues whatsoever. The fan can be a bit loud at times (it also spins up briefly when the unit is turned on), but it isn't bothersome since everything is installed inside the cabin (we usually sit outside). If you plan to mount the inverter vertically on its side—as I did—you might want to order the remote control as well; otherwise, the small display is hard to read, even if you try to tilt the unit. In short, it’s a really great inverter that handles high-draw appliances exceptionally well.

(Translated from German) A very high-quality module; I installed it immediately after receiving it. Unfortunately, it’s been raining all day and looks like it will continue... It faces due east, and since it’s wall-mounted, the tilt angle is minimal—yet the module still delivers excellent performance figures. I recommend it 100% and might even order a second one, though I’ll need to save up for it first...

(Translated from German) We have been using this solar "bag"—or rather, "monster case"—for just under three months now to charge an EcoFlow Delta 2. It consists of four 110-watt panels. Unfortunately, the chosen wiring configuration (two pairs in series, with the two pairs connected in parallel) proves to be very sensitive to (partial) shading: even a hand-sized shadow on one of the panels causes a massive drop in input power (today, it fell from 330 W to 150 W due to a hand-sized shadow on the corner of one panel). Since the unfolded panel is quite a monster—measuring nearly 2.2 m x 1 m—this size, combined with its sensitivity to shade, makes it difficult to find a completely shadow-free spot when the sun is low (as in winter), especially if you also want to manually track the sun. You also have to factor in the weight of a good 13 kg; I struggle to handle it on my own (I am a woman, 1.80 m tall). At first, I thought, "Well, the Delta 2 weighs a good 12 kg, so an extra kilo won't make a difference," but the Delta is much more compact. For comparison, I also have a small 120-watt folding panel (1.3 m x 0.6 m, 5 kg); it is just as sensitive to shade, but naturally easier to position and adjust thanks to its lower weight and smaller size. However, the small fabric solar panel is already showing signs of wear after a year, whereas the Gaia Max is built much more robustly. We have since found two good spots on the property and—weather permitting—were able to substantially charge the Delta 2 repeatedly throughout December and January. With the current high sun, we can achieve a solid 380 watts even without an optimal angle, and the Delta 2 charges fully in 2–3 hours. The comparable EcoFlow panel is just as bulky and costs a good 350 euros more. Delivery was also very prompt. The included bag is quite easy to put on after using it two or three times. Conclusion: The Gaia Max is solidly built and offers good value for money. Anyone who can live with the size—and the resulting semi-portability—gets a good product.

(Translated from German) Hello, since the flexible panel I bought a year ago had stopped working, I contacted the service hotline and received help with absolutely no hassle. This allowed me to order new panels; they were delivered very quickly, ensuring my motorhome holiday could go ahead. The panels are excellently made and deliver great performance even in low sunlight. I’m now hoping for a long service life. Many thanks for the quick and straightforward assistance.

(Translated from German) I bought 16 monocrystalline 200W PERC 9BB modules here and am absolutely satisfied with them. I can confirm the rated output of 200 watts. On a very sunny, cool day around midday this past April/May, I actually hit that 200-watt mark—meaning a total of 3,200 watts. On July 19th, with temperatures at 38°C, the output was naturally only around 2,000 watts, or roughly 130W per panel. I would buy even more, but the sunny side of the roof is already fully occupied.

(Translated from German) I installed the inverter in my motorhome. From a technical standpoint, it makes a solid impression and performs according to its specifications. I haven't been able to gather long-term experience yet, as circumstances haven't allowed for it. The SolarV team answered my technical questions about the product quickly and comprehensively.

(Translated from German) I’ve been successfully running four of these modules in an off-grid system for about a year, and I was well aware of the maximum ratings under STC conditions. I was particularly intrigued by the 9-busbar design and PERC technology, and my experience has been consistently positive. Using a 2S2P configuration and an XTRA 3415N controller, I charge a 24V/178Ah LiFePO4 battery and convert the energy to 230V via a Xantrex pure sine wave inverter when needed—powering appliances like a fridge, kettle, or hot plate. Thanks to the reliable components, the system works flawlessly, and the superbly crafted panels deliver a steady current even during the early and late hours of the day. At peak times, the MPPT controller registered an output of approximately 690 watts. That works out to around 175 watts per panel under real-world conditions. In my view, that’s excellent—hence the 5-out-of-5-star rating for these PERC modules. The only downside is the price increase of over 25% since I last bought them :-/
